It's like MLB The Show and MLB 2K. I probably play The Show more, but I can still have fun with 2K because it's a different experience. I imagine that's how it will be with this game.
You mind as well get NBA JAM. If NBA LIVE 2013 sells well who's to say that EA will kept in this way going forward?

See I have a problem with posts like these. Why are you fooling yourself with stuff like that. How do you know you're getting all this? EA hasn't released anything at all about this game but you know you're getting working online servers? A working franchise mode? And support all season? You know what happened to the last game that EA put out on the market that had issues? They disappeared from the face of the Earth and let everybody rot. See 10, NCAA Basketball.
i know where getting an hd game by the looks of the video also in the video was a franchise and season mode. EA also confirmed they will be supporting the game all year and lastly i know they will have working online because that was one big win they had in there corner all a long. and for only 20 bucks it is a good deal which is why i think this game will at least go gold if not be one of the top selling downloadable sports games of this year

This is probably EA's last stand, if this $20 game sells a certain amount, then probably they would continue the series and work on a disk game. But I honestly can't believe that instead of taking 3 years to develop this game and make it better, the developers take a 2 year vacation and just start about a year ago. Sad.

thats not what happened at all you know they fired the whole team and you cant put a team together in a month it takes time your lucky they even got eight months to work on this. thats why they keep saying pre alpha because they did not have nearly enough time to build this game

Unless you are a EA or Live fanboy, I can't see anybody paying money for this title. That's robbery !!

they should just put out a free online beta for the year, build off that and come out with something worth selling in stores next year.

EA reeeallyy fell off with its basketball games since 05 smh. They never adjusted to making a quality product with the 3rd generation consoles.
Smart idea. Don't buy the game because the pre-alpha build looks horrible. Even the best games pre-alpha builds are very very rough around the edges.

I received a warning already so I can't say what I really want to say, but some of you guys on here kill me. How can some of you guys on here lie and say your not biased towards 2k? leave the game alone if you don't want to play it and go enjoy your 2k. I definitely will be purchasing nba live 13 because that's what I prefer, doesn't mean I don't know anything about a good game.

Does anyone have the producers or developers email? I want to send an email with my design document for a Live basketball game. If they are that empty in talent and that incompetent in hiring, then it's time to start paying attention to the people with the good ideas. I know there are some of us here who can pitch an epic BBall game if given the chance. EA needs to forget hiring a college basketball player as a developer. It's a video game, not an army simulation.

I believe the NCAA rights is about to be ripped away from EA as that creates a monopoly on football games, which is illegal. Why this only just recently got brought up I have no idea, EA has had both of these licenses for a while.
