NBA Live 13 a $20 Digital Release This October?

I was really hoping & still hope Live gets turned around. There has to be competition for the games to evolve. Look at how slow football game evolution has been! Plus I like having choices. Maybe you just like the feel of a game even if it's slightly inferior. I remember in the 90's having Live, Nba Shootout, & In the Zone. Each game brought something to the table. Hopefully , next year they produce & good game & maybe , just maybe this year's game isn't a complete flop.

For many years I played 2K and did not even think about Live at all. That's just for the record. Only in 2010 did I buy 2 NBA games that year, and maybe 2003 if I recall. How are criticisms of a Live 13 video "ignorant"!? The video is right in everyone's face! Who cares if players slide? No one really as long as they don't slide TOO much. Apparently, that limit has been reached for many people. You say it was "rough around the edges". That's like saying a "skunk has a weird smell". It's that PRECISE choice of baby-glove wording that exposes you. I'm not projecting anything on you. I just want you - a vocal member of the community that has the games interest at heart - to be able to call a spade a spade. EA can't fix HUGE issues if people aren't honest about how huge they are. And that video showed MAJOR issues. That much is clear. It may be OK with you, but YOUR game is not just trying to sell to YOU and you and your clones alone. You know there aren't that many of you. At some point, look pass what you find acceptable and let others have their say. Again, you are so far off here that it's just laughable really. Huge issues in that video? Wow indeed. You and I clearly aren't watching the same video. And once again you are doing nothing but trying to push your opinion and the "majority opinion" as fact, which is a joke. The only "huge issue" I saw in that pre-alpha footage was the AI teammates turning and running back down the court before someone even took a shot. That was the biggest problem. That's the only "huge issue" I saw. And you know what? That's probably fixed by now. Other than that there was no "huge issues" to be found in that video IMO. Finally: "I am sure I will be happy with Live no matter what". Are you friggin' KIDDING me?! Really?! You're THAT committed huh? I've said it before and I'll say it again... THAT "committed"??? Committed to what exactly??? EA??? Not quite. I just know that I will be happy no matter what. I've played games since the Atari 2600, I do NOT take ANY games for granted. I play and enjoy tons of games. Even games that people claim sucked or weren't good, I enjoyed them. I know I will enjoy it. What's so crazy about that? I know that I personally can always find redeeming qualities in games. I'm 100% positive that Live 13 will have some of those redeeming qualities to me, because every single game before Live 13 has had them. So again, unless EA decided to replace the graphics with a kindergartener's drawing, or something crazy, I KNOW I will have fun with the game. I'm not that hard to please. Wow. Yes, it IS f'ing crazy that someone is that naive and gullible to believe ANYTHING from ANYONE sight unseen. Dude, that whole last paragraph is just full of friggin' crazy. At least you admit it. So, much respect, man. Naive? Gullible? Give me a break. Yeah, it's so naive to think a GAMING COMPANY that produces GAMES will produce a GAME that I expect to HAVE FUN WITH. So crazy. You're right. I should expect all games to naturally suck unless I get conclusive video evidence of the contrary.

I said it is somewhat ignorant to use an early build, in this case most likely a pre-alpha build, to base your decision of purchasing a game on. It's reckless. The EA rep came out and said it was pre-alpha, what more do you need?! Pre-alpha. Pre-freaking-alpha. Old build. Whatever you want to call it, the point still stands. Basing your purchase of a game on pre-alpha software is not the best way to decide which game is for you. At LEAST wait until EA does a proper presentation of information from a recent build or the retail build before you judge. For all we know the game could look drastically different.

I applaud EA for what they did with Fifa. I am ecstatic about how well NHL 13 looks and and plays and madden 13 is well...The best Madden yet. BUT they just could nto get it togther for NBa Live in the way they did for the other sports games they have series for. NBA live 06. 06 NOT 07 08 09 but 06 was better than and on the right track to being something that could have been truly special the way the other titles turned out. I blame the commitment EA had for basketball in general. failing to continue a NCAA game and then failing to continue the nba game. I Love soccer. I love football and hockey well i'll def love Nhl 13 this year. But after all the hype of nba live coming back its coming back in a form that is wretched. WRETCHED... A instant download for the hap chance they we have some fun with a basketball alternative by Easports. Its shame ful I dont even think there will be any ediitng capabilities either. i would have just not bothered instead bringing everyone togther and wasting resources the way they di with commuity events for nba live 13. nba live 13 should be called NBA Live. and thats it. a 3 year old game and engine made to be a arcade classic...

They're just going to dump it on us and move on to the next project....

Why the back and forth guys what is the point ,it's not an argument either side can win so just move forward.It is obvious you have a different take on things so why not leave it there.
