I was more impressed with the first demo than this one for some reason. Maybe because it was fresh, and different and felt pretty good.

The second demo, I just couldn't get into - Even with my favorite Barca being able to play as. Was bland and boring on Demo #2 for me. And I haven't played PES in years so I don't know how things are goalie wise, but for me it was very apparent that the goalies are WEAK and act/move faulty. There were soft goals that goalie doesn't even react on until its 10 yards behind him. One goal the cpu scored on me was a weak shot from about 25yards out, Casillas is probably 5-8 game yards off the line. Doesn't move until it's by him, it hits the post.. He's STILL in the air and the ball hits him in the back and then rolls back in the other corner of the goal... That was about the only excitement and laugh/fun I got out of this particular demo. And after it happened it was so odd and yet another weak goal against a good goalkeeper that I just pretty much decided I'll wait until next year. Not quite back for me yet. Also, I felt like the ball flight on shots were good in Demo 1, is there a change because they seem a little bit more "floaty" to me in Demo 2. Also, the goalie throws sent in the air are just plain laughable. Now that's a floater.

Player I.D. I will hand it to PES though. It is a nice feature and I'm hoping that the new touch and dribbling controls on Fifa will allow Fifa to portray more of a feel depending on player like PES does so well and still good in Demo 2.

Yeah... when I tried out the first demo I thought it would be a first day purchase for me and no Fifa this year... but now with demo #2 the more I play it, the more frustrating it has become. Maybe it's me but I'm seeing a few things I dislike about Fifa (perfect sliding tackles and perfect tackles overall) but also a good amount of fouls called so I don't know... Also, anyone having a problem with a slower guy catching up from behind your faster guy when he shouldn't? Like my guy doesn't run as he should... don't know if it has something to do with the RB (xbox 360) instead of the RT to sprint.

It's really something Matteo. I played as Bilbao vs Barca on all manual controls and with them closing down it really made me concentrate. I lost 1-0 on a quick counter helped out by a poor pass from me under pressure.

Yes!! The closing down is ABSOLUTELY key. It's about positioning of already being there - not having to just sprint to the player with the ball everytime, it's about the positioning - and defense is so huge in the beautiful game. I think that is what FIFA lacks; all about the showboating and less about the little things.

Yup I noticed this too, I have conceded some silly goals due to me switching to a player and pulling him out of position to go cover the guy with the ball. It is all about being patient when defending.

Sometimes I just sit back and cover passing lanes and watch the CPU back pass or switch sides to try the unlock the defence. I remember playing a game when I had pressured an team really hard in their on half they had to pass back to their Goalkeeper numerous times.

This is great advice. Once I learned to be patient and gaurd the passing lanes instead of the player with the ball, things started to really turn around for me and I was able to go up a level.

btw what is the best camera for console users??? I can't decided between Field Side, Vertical wide, or Wide... the only reason i like vertical wide is because it's easiest to shoot.. but I don't think i'm best playing this view in terms of passing and seeing everything. i think i'm leaning towards Field side at the moment what do you guys think?

definitely field side for me on ps3. And on PC, I use the camera mod to get it between field and wide view
