Only rookie in the class who was voted as one of the best athletes (2nd) and shooters (5th) by his peers. He should have his share of highlights with Lowry running the point and expert half court lob thrower Calderon as his back up.

He may have appeared to be a reach on draft night, but if you read around he destroyed all his workouts and dominated the one on ones (Austin Rivers called him his toughest guard).

Keep sleeping on him though! It's better this way.
Lillard was also voted as one of the top athletes , shooters and playmakers

Until rookies have proven themselves through NBA competition, signature skills should be given to them on a very conservative basis. Kendall Marshall did all of that in the NCAA but right now, he is not a dimer nor is he a floor general. Wait until he does something in the league before giving him the labels.

I gotta agree with Colts18. I think signature skills should be more of a rarity, especially among rookies. The only one I could see having a signature skill would be anthony davis.

Outside of strength, quick release, Leaper, , I can't really imagine giving any rookie a skill. Like I said, let them earn it first.

No love at all for Royce White? The guy who has the size of Karl Malone but passes like Magic Johnson? I think he will have a passer skill and maybe a floor general (idk if they would give it to a rookie though), probably a rebounder skill as well. I see him being somewhere between a prime Boris Diaw and a up and coming LeBron, IF he plays to his skillset.

Wow im an idiot and just reread the title....ignore me lol
