The 27th ranked 3pt shooter should not be an 89 from 3pt range.

Also the fact that they got rid of the shot off dribble rating last year and changed it to a tendency was a huge step back IMO. Hopefully they bring it back in 2K12, bc I felt like it was near perfect in 2K11 in that guys like Korver and Redick would be money coming off of screens and spotting up but could be stopped if they tried to pull up off the dribble.

I also think rep should be a factor. Guys like Korver, Novak, Mike Miller, Redick, James Jones who really are 3pt specialists and make their living from out there, should be rated higher 3pt so that they truly represent what their game is, even if their percentage may have dipped for a year.

So my problem isn't necessarily w/ Iggy in general, it's moreso with the way 2K plays in that there isn't much difference between an 89 3pt shooter and a 99 3pt shooter at times. That's what I hope they change in 2K13 by stretching out those ratings.
I agree with pretty much all of this. Hopefully, the new signature skills will help differentiate the 3pt specialists a bit more.

Fortunately, there are sliders for that this year. Between the sliders and the Signature Skills, it should be easier to differentiate shooters.

I rather them be realistic in comparison to the talent of todays superstars. Pippen was allstar...not a superstar.

WHAT?!!! First off you must be have NEVER seen Scottie Pippen in his prime, you must be of this super soft Lebron James Generation , Scottie Pippen was the guy who made the point forward postion what it is, there is nothing lebron james can do that he couldnt not do, Pippen was a beast on defense offense was Super Athletic all the things people pat lebron james on the back for doing in games Scottie did, he just happen to play in Micheal Jordans shadow PIppen needs to be higher than a 92 if theyy have the 93-94 Pippen it needs to be higher Along with Hakeen and Robinson Pippen was regarded the best in the NBA when Mike was gone

Pippen rating needs to be HIGHER.People really need to roll out the game footage of Scottie Pippen because he should be rated higher than a 92, i grew up watching Pippen and the way he played and things he did on the basketball court was truly amazing the things people pat lebron james on the back for doing Pippen did, Pippen made the point Forward postion what it is. If Pippen was playing in this SOFT NBA of today he would easily put up huge numbers and assist , i think it is funny how Carmelo anthony and scottie pippen are rated the same to say for 1. I would rate scottie a 95 at least especially the 93-94 \Pippen

It depends on which Pippen we are speaking of. Currently, LeBron is the only player than can match Pippen in overall basketball ability. Durant is a better scorer but he isn't a better basketball player than Pippen. His rating (when done correctly) should not come out higher than Pippen. Pippen does more on the court and doing more on the court generally produces a higher overall grade. Especially when defense is heavily influenced, something that Pippen flourished at.

I honestly feel what the poster above me is saying. Some of you might have been relegated to seeing Pippen in his Blazer days or something because there is a large amount of disrespect shown towards one of the best that has ever done it.
