Big deal, Melo is a 92 and you can't edit him online. Just remember this one thing ... the players on the team you are using may also be rated higher than what they are supposed to so all in all .... Jared Dudley 75 ovr defending Melo 92 overall can also be viewed as Jared Dudley 72 overall, Melo 89 -- or Jared Dudley 70 overall, Melo 87 ... follow? The overall rating is just a damn number. Lets see what his attributes say. If they give Melo a 99 Midrange shot, then **** that is reason to argue but the overall is JUST A NUMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is just his value and prestige.

Relax man, most people here know overall is meaningless. Even so, some of us just enjoy talking **** over it. People like me are bored at work so I have nothing better to do lol. And at the end of the day it boosts Steve's ad revenue, so as long as nobody gets out of hand, it's a win win for everybody.

I mean ... the rating will justify itself if you go back and watch tape.
I had to fix that for you. When I think of great finishers in traffic, I think Jordan, LeBron, Wilkens, etc. AI was not on that level IMO. Compared to other 6'1 players, I'm with you.

And AI missed mad games.

Regarding the FG attempts, many great, selfish scorers shot much better from the field though. The only other player I can think of that scored that much and shot that bad was Pierce, but he was only that bad for a few years.

I dig AI. But 95 is too high. That's 4 overall points less than Jordan. That's 3 overall points less than LeBron. Are we giving AI more credit because of his size? Shot difficulty?

Just to be clear, In 2000-2001 Allen Iverson missed 11 games out of 82.
That should give him a decent duraility rating. But I know 2K doesn't base their durability on actual % of games missed due to injury. They just kind of eyeball it.

Speaking of Durability - Damion James (former Net, FA) better not have 85 Durability again. He should have like 35 Durability, guy is NEVER on the court always hurt.

EDIT: yeah yeah i know you can edit the rating yourself. just want 2K to get it right!
