If you are referring to 2k8 controls I disagree. If you gave it sometime it all became very natural and was very intuitive. I actually felt like I had total control in that game, it actually felt like I was playing the game. Not this "contextual" crap EA has been forcing on us in all their games, not just hockey. Of course you won't agree but that's ok, and yes its jmo.

No I don't, I shouldn't have to use half the controller points on a gamepad just to do a slap shot while fending off an over aggressive AI that wouldn't know positioning if it kicked it in the head. When all you need to do is pull back on one analog and push forward. To each their own and all but convincing me that 2k8 or really any NHL2k's controls are really any thing remotely intuitive just isn't gonna happen, and this is coming from someone who played the series exclusively from 2k3 to 2k6 with giving 2k8-10 chance after chance.

Redshirt put up with a whole ton of crap from quite a few people for a while there. I don't blame him one bit.
Redshirt got quite mad at me at one point for digging in on the lack of skating physics a few years back. Of course, since then they made it their biggest goal to get in better skating physics

This is what I do for OTP, along with a custom organ-only pack for between whistles. I leave the commentary on for regular games, but since I played much more OTP in the past few years it's almost a nice change of pace to hear Gary & Bill.

What was that at 10:27?
He stops the video and replays the defender taking a poke at the puck carriers feet which jars the puck off of the stick??
I dont think Ive seen that happen ever. If you hit a guy hard enough on the skate to jar the puck off his stick which is on the other side of his body Im sure that would probably result in a penalty.
I DLd the demo but havent played it yet.
Is this guy playing the demo or the retail version?
And Ive never played hockey but I attend about 40 NHL games a year. If Im wrong about what I saw let me know.
