if the Live devs are still reading maybe this can help? If youre an intellectual its an overall interesting watch but for the sake of this thread flash forward to the 52 min mark

Back on topic though I have watched the Live 13 vids again very closely(the vid also seems to run much smoother couple days ago things were more choppy) with and without sound and if its indeed Pre-Alpha as stated there is some promise Im liking some of what I am seeing. If there is indeed RTP in affect the hints of momentum missing in Elite are evident, also some good passing animations made it in. Im hoping that the company that wrote the book on foot planting makes sure it is in the game by its release. Cant wait to so some progress.
Youtube it if you dont believe it

Oh you changed your response, I could've sworn it said "2K" in there. You're right, the Live devs do need to see that.

Boilerbuzz, if you say there's a lot of crazy in my post, why not address it and point out what you disagree with? Are you saying it's crazy to say the court spacing was good, or the rim physics were solid, or the presentation was nice? If so, address it and we can discuss it. Actually, scratch that, I have no real desire anymore to discuss PRE-ALPHA footage. Like I said, wake me up when EA releases some recent build footage or a demo. Then we can talk.
I would if I were interested in calling you out. But I feel no need to do that because it's wrong. I just was colorfully saying that I think your perception of what is good is a little different from the vast majority. Many people feel that quite a bit was wrong with the elements you claim were "good" or "solid". But it's your opinion and I salute you for expressing them even if they differ so wildly from most people. You can say it is a pre-alpha build. Even if that is true, as it was with Elite, MUCH of what you see in that video is not likely to change significantly. So prepare for that. Putting your head under a pillow and screaming to drown out the voices won't make the boogeyman go away.

Edit - Ok, I notice it when Lebron is trying to post up (in an awkward situation where the player controlling him has no clue what they are doing). Yes there was a bit of sliding. Not a big deal, but I do hope they fix that. Lebron kind of warped at one point. Again, that's a big deal to you?

I saw body contact. There wasn't excessive bumping like other games, but there was some contact to impede the progress of the offensive player. I am personally glad they don't overdo the contact like other games.

Bad net physics? And this effects the gameplay how? You're really going to nitpick over net physics??? The net looked fine to me. I liked the swish of the net when Durant shot that long 3. Again, looked fine to me.

Terrible dribbling? Lol, ok. What's so terrible about it? Generic shots? Looked like signature shooting styles to me. Besides the signature styles, Durants up and under shot, Westbrook's contact layup, Wade's nifty dunk and Lebron's contact layup all looked good to me and far from "generic".

Psychic CPU? Didn't even notice it. If it did happen, then this would be the one thing in your post I hope they address before release.

I do agree they have some rough spots to iron out before release, which I'm sure they will. This is shaping up to be a solid basketball game though for me. I am excited to give it a try in the demo, if there is one. Overall I think you're severely blowing things out of proportion if you consider all those little nitpicks major negatives towards the game.
I don't understand you man. You tell people to go back and look at the video, yet you have this post detailing what you did not see.
