I know, I would hope they have a more realistic MP online mode and not JUST blacktop. that would be so aggravating if over the top blacktop was the only option like this.

l'll be very disappointed if crew isn't added. I always bought 2k at launch but didn't last year (waited till it was on sale) because crew wasn't added, and I do know a few people who skipped 2k12 altogether due to no crew. Not only would they be dealing with lots of complaints (#1 complaint on 2k forums easily) they're losing sales by not included it, it would be a really stupid business move.

LOL at the crewpie guy (crewpie=groupie of crew mode) comparing taking out crew mode to taking out association hypothetically. Association is "slightly" more important to the overall game than crew mode. There would be no basketball game without association but without crew...still #1.

Every mode but crew if you're Durant, Westbrook, and Harden, because they're already in the game.

MyPlayer already stretches the limits of realism (in a good way). None of us are Kevin Durant. Crew has me and my friends filling out the roster of a made up NBA team with Asian guys who are 6' 2" and under, playing against other made up NBA teams filled with dudes from the same rec league and one of their 12 year old cousins, who's 7'2" and 300 pounds in the game.

Not exactly the epitome of sports gaming realism.

Anyone who skips 2K just because of crew isn't really a basketball fan, an NBA fan, or even a basketball video game fan, and to that I just have to shrug. I prefer them cater to real fans of the sport and genre, rather than catering to some other demographic like they did with the Jay-Z influenced presentation elements.

Not that I don't want crew back. I just think militant crew only people are the wrong people for 2k to bend over backwards for.
