It would not surprise me if the ability to become a coach/GM/Owner after your playing career is over is apart of the game this year, hence the change of the name to MyCareer.

- Let's see them completely remove Association and see how ya'll react. The past few games, Online has been given the shaft. Functionality was bad in 2k11, no crew in 2k12 and initial server problems, etc. So I think that's why many purchases really are dependent on Online components. That's the kind of influence the funnest mode in the game has.

- The Crew format isn't realistic? Really? Think of it this way -- Kevin Durant's most true to life experience would be a mode where he's playing as his character (it's in the game already), playing on the Thunder, and Westbrook is controlling his character, Ibaka is controlling his character, etc. Hmmm -- which mode mimicks that for the 2Kgamer? Why would Durant care about what his rating in the game is? Because it's all about controlling yourself and your sig moves, your appearance, your swag, etc. Now do you see the appeal? Maybe you should give it a try.

- I've been playing real basketball since a kid til now and been playing nba2k since the dreamcast days. This crap that it's "non-sim" or casual ballers only to try to marginalize it is baloney. If anything, the format is more sim because the same rules that apply in real life basketball apply to the virtual court more than the other modes. Team chemistry, knowing when to cut, GM/team building with real players, and all the nuances of human 5on5 and playing with the same crew for months is not something that can be replicated by the Static and repetitive CPU. The mode was just poorly executed (cheaters / cheesers) in 2K11. But that doesn't mean the mode isn't great. All you offline ballers think it's fun playing the CPU all day? That gets old and stale after you've experienced the dynamism of crew.


I just get sick of Online ballers gettin screwed. Ya'll r right tho, crew talk has been a lot -- but I think that shows the passion behind the mode and anticipation if it's in the game or not.

just saying why would they have MP blacktop right ? but not have crew ? seems like crew is in
