EA has never reach the level of NBA2k, just because they are too lazy..

I'm pretty sure work ethic isn't the issue. That's just a slap in the face to the those guys. If you'd like someone to blame, blame the suits for not allowing the creative freedom that 2k obviously extends to their team.

I mean comon, why even dissect and discuss so heavily a PRE-ALPHA video. PRE-ALPHA! Lol. Wake me up when they release some videos of the recent build, then we can criticize.

But just for the sake of argument...let's dissect this video a little more. For one, the person using the Heat didn't really know what they were doing, so it looked ugly on that side of the ball. The Thunder looked a lot better, but that's not saying much. Kevin Durant's shot selection was very questionable but again, I attribute that to it being a PRE-ALPHA build. All the under the hood stuff probably wasn't fully implemented.

The court spacing for the most part was fantastic. A few times it got bunched up but not every play will be perfect. Overall it was nice.

There were also a lot of very natural pick and rolls happening. Not like other games where you have to press the Pick and roll button, wait for a big guy to run out and set one, etc. No, this footage had pick and rolls happening very naturally and fluidly, like in the real NBA. So that I liked. There was definitely some movement with a purpose.

The rim physics, as in the ball hitting the rim and bouncing off, was very nice. It made for some long rebounds at times, which other games lack. Rebounding overall looked very nice.

The presentation was solid. I like Van Gundy and Breen a lot, so that automatically wins points with me. I also watched the video a few times on mute just to pay more attention to the gameplay and not the presentation.

So yeah, not that bad. Got me interested to see some recent build footage though, for sure.
the build that you seen wasn't pre-alpha, thats the whole issue here.... EA says it is, but guys who seen it at E3 said that its better than that build, so this a pre-alpha build at all, go and do some research in nba elite 11, and you will see that the same thing happened there is happening all over again, they said the same thing about elite 11 being a pre-alpha stage, but it was just like retail version..... so believe that if you like, but most of us here isn't buying what EA is saying, all EA has to do is drop a snippet of a video to show or proves us wrong, but their nowhere in sight,

Amen on the work ethic thing. Respect the effort these folks put in. Criticism is fine where it's warranted. CONSTRUCTIVE. But calling folks lazy is wrong.

There's a LOT of crazy in your post man, in my opinion. I'll just say that. But if it's how you really feel, I can respect that.
