great post, it is sad to see these fans stay loyal to a company that clearly doesn't care about them. But you can not attack others, because their opinion differs from your, the fact that some of you are actually angry at us is ridicules, that anger should go towards EA. We aren't developing this game, and claiming it's pre-alpha. Someone said, "we should lower our standards", why? Is lowering our standards making live better? If anything that's one of the problems right there, you lower your standards for live but raise them for 2k, that's crazy. Make EA accountable and not accepting anything they give you.

What I don't understand is why people have so much loyalty to a big faceless corporation that puts their publishing brand on the box and not the actual developers who made the Live games that they enjoyed in the past.

EA destroyed any sense of continuity when they fired and later hired a bunch of people to handle Live.

And anybody who says Live 10 was the best is basically admitting it was Mike Wang's doing, which makes NBA 2K13 in some ways the spiritual successor to that game with the right dribble stick finally in place.

It's worth mentioning that CastleStorm isn't even out yet; they plan a release 'later this year' according to their facebook as of YESTERDAY.

This means, whatever build this is, CastleStorm had to at least be downloadable on XBLA in some kind of Beta mode at the time this video was captured. My deductive reasoning puts that video at about 2 weeks ago MAX.

It's very possible that EA isn't even planning on putting Live 13 out until several months from now (validating their 'Pre-Alpha' spiel)...does anybody have a confirmed release date on the game as of yet???

Nice observation! Although, they could be running an older build on a machine two weeks ago. That's plausible, but it sounds strange to do that.

I truly wonder what the deal is with this video and what stage the game is in now.
