Yeah, I am hoping that there is written insights. I like vids, but I dont mind spending 5-10 mins reading an insight. Especially for the Art/Presentation insight.

now this is more like it, although i seen some animations that have been around since 2k10 and it's getting annoying, overall i love it. Some of these animations need to stop being reused every year though.

I had thought we'd get a lil' of both. Writen insights with vids to display a few things. Cuz you always get more info from the devs themselves out of five or six paragraphs vs a 2 minute vid.

No matter. Any info is lagniappe so I'm gangsta till the next one.

there's nothing wrong with reusing animations. as long as the animations they're keeping are good animations. in real life, players repeat similar moves and dunks all the time, so why should 2k need to come up with completely new animations every year? how many times have you seen Lebron do that same one-handed power dunk? He repeats it all the time in real life. a crossover is crossover, a layup is a layup, and a tomahawk dunk is a tomahawk dunk. some animations are effective and serve a purpose...so there's no need to replace animations that work. now, reusing bad animations, that's another story.

it's similar to the people that complain every year that the player faces look the same as the previous game. why should 2k be expected to redo all of their player models every year? Last I checked most NBA players don't have their faces drastically altered with plastic surgery during the offseason. Why would 2k redo a player's face if they already had him looking accurate in the previous game? 2k's faces are usually very accurate, yet every year there's somebody who complains that 2k didn't redo the player faces.

Really liked what I saw. 2K13 is definitely on the right track to greatness (if the little problems don't show up a week after release).

I agree but he looks way better than he did in 2k12 imo. CP3 looked best in 2k8-10 imo.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Did anyone notice that teams are still wearing the wrong color warm - up suits? In 2k11 they were all corrrect but now we have teams like the lakers wearing yellow warmups on the road and purple warmups at home. I hope this is fixed when the game drops..other than that it looks GREAT
