They said that same thing l when I posted the Venice Beach elite videos and it was really the final build we were playing... ask Jano and jtdribbles...they were there with me to see it

EA is not beyond lying, and to be honest with you the guys who posted the E3 videos back in E3 confirmed what EVERYBODY who saw the game said

The silence from EA is deafening. They havn't shown anything at all to disprove the rumors. They are going to get slaughtered by 2K this year.

They would be wise to go back to baseball with an MLB license if they want to enter another sport aside from Soccer (Fifa), American Football (Madden series), or Hockey (NHL series).

If it's an Alpha build, then maybe they have something there where it's a foundation and they are going to build on it, but I don't like to speculate like that.

The whole thing is just messy to me. You really have to wonder why they continuously flub this title. I felt that Live 10 had promise. From the time they announced Elite to now, EA Sports made a debacle of this title.

OK maybe this is a Pré alpha build but common 2 years in development.
With this crap EA do you really think we fans will like to buy such a game.

It's now there move to convince us with a new build video so we can see that we are wrong and you still got it, but I doubt they will do it.
Its not in there strategy i think.

Damn EA THink fast, because this footage was indeed crap except for the nice presentation with the logo and stuff for the rest DAMN.

Actually playing Live 10 and looking at Elite and 13, little has changed, and none positive.

Graphically speaking, the series is virtually unchanged since Live 06. However, the art direction has regressed.



The character models have always appered to be more slim or athletic in contrast to other basketball simulations, but in Live 13 they look anemic. The same also applies to the horrid art design for the team uniforms.


That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Gameplay-wise, I enjoyed Live 10. Outside of big men such as Dwight and Gasol being capable of agile moves (euro-step, "pro"-hop) the gameplay mechanics were sound. Plays could be ran, every team had unique sets, post moves were initiated naturally, and so-on. There were instances of canned animations and sliding, but it was tolerable.

With Live 13, I see a game that appears to be built on an older build of the series, I just don't see exactly which one. It would pain me to know this iteration was built from scratch. They obviously need another 3-4 years at this rate.
