Honestly, I'd be fine with this. Seriously considering buying NBA Live 10 again. I enjoyed the heck out of that game. Some things that bothered me, but overall I had a good time with it.

If they improved on that game, I'd buy NBA Live 13. I remember once upon a time we thought NBA Live 11 was going to do that before they decided to start over again or whatever it was they did.

Live 10 is way too outdated to be a game people want... and

WHY AFTER 2 YEARS OFF ARE PEOPLE STILL SAYING THEY'D ACCEPT MEDIOCRITY??

If COD or Halo or any other big title pulled this off you people would bash them so hard it wouldnt make sense.

Thats the same thing I was thinking when I saw this and the same thing I'd like to know as well...but you wont get an honest answer though.

Realistically I think we would like to see innovation through competition. NBA 2k has innovated tremendously in its own right... but there is some of it that is a result of a direct competitor.
I dont remember people complaining this much when Live 2005 released, do you?

The problem with innovation is EA is the only ones that keep saying it but aren't showing anything.

Honestly, get the fundamentals down in across the board before throwing out more buzzwords that keep falling to the ground

Don't forget 2K. 2K actively tries to improve their game every year and take the next steps towards greatness and they get bashed endlessly for it. How many people absolutely kill 2K12 as if it's the worst game ever made for the flaws in that game despite the fact that it's STILL a good game, even with those flaws.

Live 10 might be outdated with the rosters online and some 2 man animations but it has a solid foundation of passing, dribbling, shooting and contact in the lane. Plus the overall fun factor and ability to play online still makes it a viable basketball choice.

Pick it up, it's prob only 10 bucks right now and check the forums here for the updated rosters. Plus you can practice your right stick dribbling.....

I played that game enough.. while it is or was fun, its still generic and not without its own flaws

EA has never had a good CAP face maker so they all look like burned puppets, and repackaging that game and trying to sell it for 60 dollars would be ridiculous

It needs far more than just 2 man animations

I don't play those games.

But come on, you know I don't mean rerelease Live 10.

We are talking about using it as a base which is what they should have done instead of making Elite.
