Just CPU to 65 to make it harder for me to connect deep.

I did this and it's fantastic. Read-n-react is better, no huddle works and on a toss the pulling guard and fullback both pancaked and linebacker and cornerback, respectively. Haven't seen that since the patches dropped.

I went no huddle, called the same play but with the trips to the field on the RIGHT. When I went to reset the play to cancel the no huddle animation, it flipped my formation to Trips left and I had to burn a timeout. Just splendid.
It flipped the play just from you resetting it? Weird, I run it like that all the time and it never flips it. It resets to what ever I called out of the no huddle.

I don't know if its the AI aggressiveness or play calling, but safety play is horrible on Heisman. literally any 3rd and long will be completed if you call a play that has 1 WR on a streak pattern. A streak patten against the AI right before half or the end of the game is almost a guaranteed TD every time. This isn't with just a slot receiver, but with the outside receivers. The safety takes 1 or 2 steps forward at the beginnig of the pay and the WR will get behind everybody 7 out of 10 times.

In addition the AI playcalling is pretty horrendous. I can hold almost any team to 17 points or less.

This is with no gameplanning gimmicks and only controlling the DT. If you jack up the AI running sliders, they can get a run game going, but its just because they will blow your line up and break tackles. The AI has a real difficulty passing. This is with the AI passing sliders jacked way up and the human sliders dumbed down on Heisman. If the AI call an option play to the weak side, the AI RB trails behind the QB 5 to 8 yards and it leads to a loss of 5 or so yards every time.

Hopefully the can tweak the gameplay to fix it, but right now, for me, its almost unplayable. Going to continue to work on sliders over the next week, but odds are slim of developing sliders that will emulate the college game. The human QB is way too accurate even at 0. Long balls are almost always on the money and the slant patterns are almost money every time.

i have had it with this game for now.....

i am not one to believe in conspiracy theories but post patch the offensive playcalling is garbage...

i have done the coach sliders( normal and reversed) nothing seems to stop the cpu from calling all go routes.....

on 3rd and 10, 90% of the time the cpu will throw a hailmary, its an easy pick...
the cpu seems to be allergic to punting....

first it was too many screens now its 4 verts on first down, and mandatory in long 3down rd passing situations...

i can defend it perfectly but seeing the cpu go 1 for 12 on 3rd downs is annoying.....

First and foremost, the no huddle "I can't hear you" problem is 100% without any doubt, a major glitch. This is not realistic in any way. There is no way the dev team would have put this in the game. In college, the teams that run the no huddle run the no huddle well. The purpose of the no huddle is to give the defense minimal time to react, and the offenses that run the no huddle make sure that communication is not an issue. That's why it's the receivers and backs looking to the sideline. They are getting hand signals or in some cases number's/pictures, and don't have to worry about hearing anything. The quarterback ONLY and I mean ONLY verbally relay information to the offensive line. Watch Oklahoma run their offense. Backs and receivers look at the sideline at 3 different coaches in a different color shirt making signals, sometimes only one coach is live, sometimes they are all live but signaling different groups (RB and FB, QB and receivers), but I cannot stress to you enough how in the no huddle offense, the quarterback and receivers do not interact with each other when the play is called/changed. Before the patch, EA did this pretty well. After the patch, they broke it. This was not a deliberate change, it couldn't be. These animations have been in the game for years, but only when you audibled and changed the play in a hostile stadium, in which case the quarterback is changing the play himself. There is no way to defend this as being "just an unrealistic change to the no huddle." This is not a change to it, this is a glitch.
I've got bad news for you: EA did this on purpose, and said as much on their NCAA twitter account.

Hey Fist - please post your results if you stumble upon sliders that work. Your Heisman sliders for 11 and 12 made those games challenging and playable. I haven't bought 13 yet after renting and seeing the deep ball problems most are experiencing. I hoped the patch would fix the problems, but it sounds like it's still a major gamebreaker, unless one makes up a house rule against ever throwing to a streaking receiver in this game.
