They should of developed it in the background like CCM and instead work on blocking and running animations or/and add weight and momentum so when the IE is ready, the gameplay is almost brilliant.

Fast forward to now, Madden 13 has the same quirks as that other physics football game released a few years back but yet some of the same ones that said that the game released a few years back was "amazing" (even though it had quirks caused by its physics engine) are now saying that madden 13 is "complete trash" due to it having similar quirks.

It's not surprising to me at all but I just find it to be funny.
I never played Backbreaker, so the hypocrisy angle you're going for fails. Also, Bqckbreaker wasn't intended to be a realistic sum, but rather intended to be an unrealistic arcade game. Kinda what Madden is in actuality, except refuses to accept that title and continues to wrongly insist that it is "sim"

The more I play this demo the more "bumper car" tackles I see and the less I like it. I think the infinity engine is great and it's a big step in the right direction, but it needs a TON of tuning.

I can't recall watching a real game and seeing Frank Gore get hit and go flying 5 yards backwards.

If you feel that things shouldn't be added to sports games until they are "100% ready", what sports games do you play? Asking since due to the majority of sports game series releasing every year, just about every new feature is a "work in progress".

And in the same token, why are'nt the slogans and advertisements suggesting more ingenuous statements in refference to their plans rather than making claims such as "similation football, and realistic physics engine? I understand what you are saying, but that doesnt justify misleading the masses into expecting "an overhaul", or a " it feels like a whole new game", when in fact it doesnt.

There are more people than you so no it doesn't "fail".

The game had arcade-like modes (like tackle alley) but the game was being directly compared to sim NFL games due to its physics engine. It was intended on making people not want to play "canned animation sim football games".

It's typical advertising. Nothing really new.

Also, many who are enjoying the Madden 13 demo feel that it feels completely fresh in comparison to previous Maddens so (obviously), people have different opinions.

EXCELLENT SUGGESTION!!! Putting out this IE and leaving the AI and other issues EXACTLY the way they are leads some to believe that this was an attempt to feed the zombies a pinky finger so that they stay loyal. is this their intention? Probably not, is their reason for concern? YES

True, but is that really saying much?
