Thought it would take 5 minutes to add back white uniform degradation. Guess not. I didn't see much difference in the game play. Degradation is at least an update I can see.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Title Update #2 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Ironically, my first ONLINE game saw my opponent suffer from the no huddle bug. He was down with a minute left and no timeouts. He went no huddle and BOTH of his RB's in SG Split Slot got stuck in the little "I can't hear you" bug and he didn't get the snap off for 7 seconds after the clock started running. Next play I tackled him a yard short of the marker, he hurried up to spike and the clock expired on him. He mismanaged the drive pretty badly, but the bug certainly played a factor.

I guess this ruins my plans to go HUNH with the spread though, you might as well huddle up. It goes faster and fatigue won't kill you.

I wish the game would have saved the few replays of frozen Cover 2 safety play. One came on a corner route where that WR was the only receiver on that side of the field and the safety didn't even move a step. Guess the route didn't come into his happy zone yet.

Running game feels better, as does the FB give on the triple option. Not sure if it is placebo or not but I didn't feel like I was getting stuck on my OL or chased down from behind by the Kenyan track team every time. Overall, good solid patch. Hopefully that no huddle bug gets fixed though.

Theres an adjustment to allow players to set quicker, its called TEMPO.

If #2 is vertical (like in 4 verticals) the corner needs to stay with #1 until somebody threatens the flat. Even then he should break on a throw to the flat not a receiver in the flat. Cover 2 corners are taught hands on 1 eyes on 2. Add safeties not turning and running soon enough and you get cover 2 that is awful in this game
I wouldn't go that far. I believe any decent free safety can easily cover hash to hash while the corners do their job with the outside verticals.

Meanwhile with Cover 2 as you said, the corners are eyeing up #2 and looking for something underneath to play which means with each step they are likely losing ground with #1. So the safety either gives up inside leverage to the seam or has to cover a lot of ground to get back to #1.

In any event, I will agree that Cover 2 definitely could use some work in game.

Have you been paying attention to anything in this thread? Your last few posts including this one seem to indicate no because they have either been flat out false or missing the point.

What we are talking about is this:

Here's the video I posted about it for those who haven't seen it. I've seen this on 100% of my no huddle plays post patch.
That has nothing to do with any setting the user can control, it is a bug introduced by the patch where your HB or WR can spend as long as 7 seconds holding his hands to his ears as if he can't hear the play, thus preventing you from snapping the football.

In the middle of the game, it isn't a huge deal. With no timeouts and the clock running, it is.

EDIT: I did test to see if it is possible coach settings could impact this, the answer is no. Neither conservative nor aggressive tempo within coaching adjustments changes it. Happens every time.

If we just started a dynasty and download this update, will the dynasty updates affect my previously started dynasty? Or do I need to start over from scratch for these updates to take place?

Tempos don't work. I set mine every game & they don't make a difference. I set tackle & big hit to conservative and the CPU still breaks the same amount of tackles. I set it to watch pitchman, they go to te QB, I set for conservative catch, and they break the first tackle, but yet drop the ball. I liked the game before this update. I just lost to ASU on heisman in my dynasty after stomping UGA the week before. ASU put up 42 on me before half, throwing zero incompletions.

I just came here to post this because I just lost a game this way!

Down by two, I have the ball at the 30 yard line with about 15 seconds. I decide to run right so that I can get in the middle of the field for an easy touchdown. I run this successfully and call no huddle so I can spike the ball. My players are lined up ready to hike the ball with 6 seconds left when this happens and I don't get the play off, thus losing the game.
