Passing is still a bit easy vs cpu (thank god I only play user vs user). Outside of that I'm loving the demo.

Side note good lord these impressions are all over the place. We go from "awesome graphics" to "looks like N64"... It shouldnt be even questioned why there is no way to make everyone happy. Sheesh....

lol I agree. I think it looks fantastic. I just don't get why others don't. But as always, its their opinion. Gotta respect it.

Okay that might not be too bad. I'm going to assume a lot of the cooler features from franchise mode might not be available in this mode because they introduced it this year? Also, if I wanted to play with a friend on the same team in the mode, is that possible? Like there would only be one user controlled team, but is co-operative play possible?

Well, after playing a few games yesterday I came away not too impressed, yet not really disappointed. Here are a few of my random thoughts...

• As far as the sound and presentation is concerned I was pretty impressed. Having the new announcers by itself makes the game 10x more enjoyable. Having said that I was never too huge on having the presentation part of the game being a priority.
• I really enjoyed the new throwing trajectory system, I've been seeing myself making completions where in the past the LB would just jump and swat the ball down.
• The new physics engine certainly has potential to be a positive for game play, but it just doesn't work like it needs to right now. There are just way too many moments that are just way too awkward/rag doll-like right now. I'm holding out hope for some of the loose ends to be tied up for when the full version is released before I come to any conclusions.
• Overall I thought player models looked way better this year. Not really something I ever cared about too much, but nothing stuck out like a sore thumb.
• The lighting bringing/darkness is a big issue in the Seahawks/Redskins game.

The main thing that hasnt been carried across is the ability to edit. To me it's not a gamebreaker but alot of other people feel differently. You can't play with a friend on the same team. But if your playing online with the friend you can be for example Peyton Manning on the broncos, and your friend could be coach of the Chargers. So just because your playing as 1 player doesnt mean your friend has too. You have to play online though. There is no offline co-op. I'd suggest looking around the forum. There is plenty of threads on Connected Careers and exactly what it entails. There is alot of details it would take me too long to type up in here.

In the demo you are playing a pre season game. So there is nothing to fix

Thanks man, I've been searching around. Seems as though you cannot play with someone else on your team in a game in connected career. Sucks.
