Madden NFL 13 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

I am enjoying this demo the more I play it, something is missing... I am not bashing the game at all, but the more I play, the more I realize they need some serious broadcast help. The camera angles for cut scenes, are simple cut scenes and this turns the game more into an arcade NFL game instead of an actual authentic NFL video game experience. The presentation and the gameplay are way too far apart for me. The buzzkill enters when these things become detached from one another. We need way smoother camera angles, not to mention a custom camera implemented.

The game is FUN i love the implementation of the infinity engine, I just am not buying their presentation, and to me gameplay and presentation make my NFL games.

BTW I had 2 count them 2 defensive PI calls on myself! That was good. And that was with all the penalty sliders at default.

To the people that are experiencing drop balls. There is a bug in the demo that puts all your user sliders to 25 and the CPU stays at 50. It only happens when you put it on all madden.

Im with this, and still getting 13, and enjoyed the demo but man the engine/animation as far as tackling was really embarrassing. It was like that rag doll physics at its worst.

Yeah, I encountered a nice pass interference on the defense in the winding moments of the game that gave me great field position.

Also, Michael Crabtree is a monster. I can't count on both hands the number of great sideline catches this guy has gotten me. Getting me out of bad 3rd and longs or getting me right back into the game with a nice side of the endzone TD catches.

Also, I had a great one handed catch by Zach Miller over the middle that got me a nice 1st down and more.

The new catching animations in this game definitely make me say "ooo! AAAAHH!" after some great clutch catches or just all around sexy looking plays.
