Totally agree, but I think some of the grading is done for balancing. Everyone knows those schools have a harder path recruiting in real life, they have to make some difficulties somewhere. A lot of schools I see have Academic Prestige about 2-3 grades too high as well, which I always find amusing.

I think if you actually went through and changed things too similar to real life, the recruiting difficulty relative to real life if that makes sense.

But a D+?

That's just disrespectful.

Agree. In 2011 my Army dynasty team had a B+ academic prestige rating -- something changed in EA's philosophy. EA needs to amend the category name from Academic Prestige to Academic Appeal. Service academy degrees are recognized worldwide, but academy life and the military obligation which graduates incur do not appeal to the masses. By changing the category, EA gives the proper respect to those who have been there and done that while acknowledging the fact that many college football prospects don't find academy academics attractive.

I rolled with Army in my first year as OC. I used my custom playbook. Moved Hassin to TE and I played extremely well.

I will second New Mexico. I played UTSA with New Mexico and damn near got beat. And before you can do anything to improve your team you are forced to endure humiliating defeats at Texas and Texas Tech. Although I will admit that UMASS is so bad it scares even me. And I live to rebuild a team. I spent years playing this game doing nothing but rebuilding UNLV.

Actually, now that I think about it, New Mexico State might be even tougher than New Mexico, because they are in the WAC. At least the MWC is referred to by recruits as a "middle of the road" conference. I would really like to power to dissolve the WAC and send the teams in the WAC to C-USA and the Sun Belt.

Boy, now that I think about the WAC, maybe Idaho should be on the list. The only pitches for Idaho are playing time and playing style.

The play on the field is almost just as frustrating. Literally every 5 wide open interceptions do you get 1. The CB Poyer will lock-down the best receiver but after that it's a crap shoot. There is ZERO protection up front, and Agnew is slower than you'd want.

Along with no intangible pitches, it's a tough dynasty.

And the more and more I play with them in NCAA 13, the more and more I get nervous for this year.
I'm very worried.
Well that went better than expected, huh?
