The PS3 story does not get updated till later, whilst the XBOX gets updated earlier. Happened when I had my PS3 last year, but woke up this morning and downloaded it.

Commentary and an attempt at a game recap would go such a long way. I was smiling and happy with what I was seeing and the way the game was flowing, then old EA reared it's ugly head at halftime. I just wish they would see that there is a huge crowd and fan base that truly wants these things.

They have clearly given me a fun game to play. I played it today and enjoyed that engine and how unpredictable it was, I intercepted the ball, and had a choice where to run ( i wasn't take down soon as I picked it), I could run back a punt and wasn't caught in canned animations. I HAD FUN for the first time in a long time with an unpredictable NFL game, but there was no environment to go with this fun, there was no true real broadcast style presentation that could tie it all together and give me a complete package. This is where it stings year after year. Also there is no excuse why most of these payers are sporting created faces when they are key players on their respective teams.

I'm sure they want it back, too.

I do like Nantz and Simms going over the stats at half-time. That is different than last year.

Those 2 are clearly the best commentary this series has ever seen. I actually was like "SHUT UP" when it was crunch time and they were insulting my player who fumbled, THAT is what I want in a game.

I would love them to take exactly what 2K did presentation style, put a positive EA twist on it and roll from there. I need to see more effort on the generic faces, or at least give us a pallet of "create a faces" to at least tweak some features to help it look more like say Marshawn Lynch, he looks pretty terrible in game.

One thing that seems to be missing from most EA games, Madden included is the feeling that each game means something and is different. Week 1 is different than Week 15. The "in game experience" is virtually the same regardless of who you are playing and what Week it is. Same with NCAA. If you went over to a buddy's house and walked in midgame, there is no way you would know if it was Play Now, Preseason, Week 1, Week 10 or Week 17. That's an issue for immersion.

Im with you, and I also think that M13 is a massive step forward in this department.
