Absolutely amazing.
Same here. Pretty sweet.

Question though, they showed a highlight of a previous game at some point (a playoff match)--anybody know where these show up? Is this something that they add in-game, or pre-game, or what? Either way, seems like a great touch.

Honestly, this EA Canada Team doesn't seem like they even work with EA...My hopes every year based on this game never disappoint, every year I feel hyped for NHL and I get the game, I'm equal satisfied or it exceeds my expectations...So The Hyped machine around NHL to me is Null in void, this game and series the last few years just rocks.

Damn, as a Madden first gamer, I am so jealous of where the NHL series is in comparison. This game looks to be shaping up nicely.

I'm excited to play this game. For some reason, being able to play with a true broadcast camera is still novel to me. Being able to have the technology on consoles as well as the expertise/creativity to create something that "looks like TV" is part of the reason I enjoy sports games these days.

Looks incredible! I really hope the broadcast cam plays well, because it looks beautiful. I always found I got confused using the skill stick on the traditional "Broadcast" cam.

Everything looks terrific...LOVE that they've improved/upgraded the replay packages and angles. I always found the replays to be lacking the last few years and didn't care for most of the angles.

Only complaint....not only did Bozak hit the net, but he absolutely sniped in that video. Totally unrealistic!

Re: NHL 13 Presentation Video and Blog

Count me among those impressed. If this is the last great innovative cycle for this generation of console games, it looks like EA Canada is putting in some serious effort.

I have a question that any of you who know more about production schedules on these games might be able to answer. I'm guessing that these improvements weren't just worked on this last calendar year and that at least some have been in the works for a while, but due to deadlines, the development team had to push them off to refine and get them right. Am I correct in this?

I mean, I like NHL '12, but the improvements were incremental compared to what looks like is coming out next month. Were they working on these additions last year too and it just took 2-3 years in the cycle to get it ready for the public?
