Is the NBA Live 13 Cover Athlete, LeBron James?

I don't live in Miami and don't really know much LeBron James fans personally. But if you think that LeBron's decision special that aired on ESPN didn't draw tons of attention then your mistaken, it was the highest rated show on television that night.

In the social media age that we live in any publicity is good publicity, anyone remember "Rebeca Black - Friday" song, 36 million views on youtube, but almost every comment is negative. Whether or not people like you or hate doesn't matter, all that matters is that they're talking about you. LeBron may be hated now, but the haters just add to the fans that he already has.

Ok, you must just be skipping points. This is about LeBron, because his image holds weight in today's society, and I don't think he would put his image just anything, or on a game that's similar to NBA Elite quality wise.

You somehow translated that into me thinking that because LeBron James is on the cover of this game it must be bomb, No. Never said that.

IF LeBron james is on the cover of this game then I think it can't be as bad as Elite. If LeBron is not on the cover, then i think the quality of this game is still up in the air.

Exactly! The man will walk around with a shirt that has his own face on it. If LeBron is going to put his image on something he wants you to know about it. So would he put his image on NBA Live 13 if he knew it was going to be terrible? Especially when everything else he puts his image on he boasts?

I will once again say, I wish I could've played whatever copy of Live it was that hooked some of you dudes so hardcore that you'll say anything to defend and believe in EA. I don't care how much money LeBron already has in endorsements he'll sell you a box of **** covered crackers if he's getting paid out the *** for it. That's like saying State Farm is the best insurance to have cause LeBron put his name on it. Or Hanes is the best underwear cause Jordan is a good business man. I'll let Dave Chappelle explain it better than any of us.

I don't care who is on the cover of this game, cause Durant put his stamp on that bull**** *** Elite, I seen videos of him playing it and saying how good it was and look what happened., so no person on the game will make me believe in the game. Now I am a Live fan still playing Live 10 and loving it, but I'm just saying just cause it may e Lebron don't mean ****.... I actually hate Lebron so I'm hoping it is not him..LOL. They should go back like back in the day Bulls vs Lakers and call it (NBA Live 13 Heat vs Thunder) and call it a day!!!!

2k didnt want all the negativity that comes with lebron, such as people still hating him for the "decision". Basically all the people who hate lebron wouldnt buy the game, just because lebron is on the cover. I know people who would rather kwame brown and greg oden on the cover over lebron. So honestly if this is the cover of Live, just know you are losing people just because lebron is on the cover.

and thats the stupid part about casual fans. When does the cover athlete make a differnce in the game?
