Madden NFL 13 Video - Gameplay with Kinect

I realize he was referring to the Kinect feature but this quote sums up EA/Tiburon's main goal for next-gen Madden, to this point.

On the plus side....its been a while since Ive been able to smile and appreciate what Infinity does do well in its current state.....Tackling....Minus that horrible looking shoulder charge animation, those tackles gave the football freak inside me a tickle

It was good seeing a player fall on his stomach and stand-up from that position. Felt like the vids I've seen, the ball carrier or defender would flip or roll over to his back before he could stand up.

I dont have an issue with that at all. Look at the angle he hit him. Peterson is off balance and the CB hit him square with his shoulder.

He's not off balance and his momentum is still going forward. Plus, Peterson at 215lbs, is 30lbs heavier. I still don't like it, I just don't believe that hit could happen, especially with the him just standing there like that after he hits him. A hit like that, from a much smaller person into a much larger person, would at least made his momentum fly forward as he hits him. Not just stand there like he hit a small child.
