I'm DEF. not a fan of LBJ but this cover art gives me a little hope for the series when I thought all was lost. I really could care less who is on the cover, I just want the game to release I'm tired of attempting to play 2k and rage quitting. I wouldn't even mind a digital release of the game I take my ps3 with me everywhere anyway. Hopefully EA doesn't dog us out AGAIN.

To eveyone that saw that NBA Live 13 cover with LeBron James on it I don't think that's the official cover. @EASPORTS didn't confirm it.

No man, I said it COULD be the real cover based on technical aspects that caught my eye.

Even the ones that we know were made by pros aren't 100% popular because everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

For those who know anything about marketing, which is completely different from Graphic Design:

What do pixels have to do with anything, your argument makes no sense. Anybody with any skill could recreate a piece of advertising. Explain yourself:

I've been a Graphic Designer for over 13 years at a University. There are a million rules that I have to follow when it comes to logos/colors and anything that has branding. There is no way in hell the Heat would allow for their colors to change. The NBA does not own the Miami Heat. The NBA and EA would get their asses taken court in a heartbeat if they released such a cover. Might as well change the cover from pink to gold and purple.

Show me a sports cover from the past where team colors have been changed to something else other than what's under their respective trademarks.

I already stated before that Jay-Zs involvement in the game was not restricted to music only. Trust me when I tell you that this is not the cover, whether or not Lebron is the cover athlete; that's a whole other thread.

I found this to be strange as well. You would think that a "reputable" site like OS would at least get credible information from trusted sources (and not from an "anonomous email") before posting the info.
