Is the NBA Live 13 Cover Athlete, LeBron James?

If real it could help Live 13 sales. If casual fans will buy a game because of a rap artist, they'll for sure buy it if the guy that by most is considered the best in the league is on the cover.

No other OS-exclusive screen shots have the logo up top like that, it usually is in the bottom right corner.

Yeah but they won't include any meaningful content with LeBron in the game. Not like how 2K intergrated the Jordan challenge, the legendary teams, or Jay-Z executive producing the entirety of 2K13.

Sure that is all marketing but at least there is great content beyond the cover.

Yeah that's true extra stuff helps, but do you really think the older nba lives need that I'm talking 03,04 etc. they had the classic teams based on era which was enough for me, having lebron related stuff will just make the lebron haters mad and they'll ask why not durant or rose or Kobe?

I'm a professional graphic designer and by the consistency of the art (pay close attention to the background which has the same visual flavor of the polygons on his right forearm) I'd say it could be the real deal. It's really different from the other EA covers but as somebody wrote earlier, they might want to make the game stand out from the pack.

EA would be wise to make a splash and going with LeBron. They need all the help they can get to get the Live brand going right now.
