k heres how it plays out....live is released as a digital download only (id guess 29.99)....it has a super skimpy feature set ie no my player type thing maybe no career mode...BUT the gameplay is semi solid (theyll build on this as they did with the fifa takeover of pes) AND online play will be banging.

is it crazy that im really pulling for this scenario?

I guess I missed the fine print on the cover that said "Greatest basketball game ever, 3 year continuity plan, superb nba gaming competition or your money back"

Of the limited previews we have, the only negative thing I've read on Live 13 gameplay is that the animations need work. All this other stuff is meaningless. Buy what you like.

The point is if EA creates a good basketball game then "basketball fans" will like the game, there's no need to over-hype and market the game to try to win back lost fans. Let the game win em back.

Now that I agree with. I do feel that after the Elite 11 debacle, they do need to do something to tell people "Hey we're back, and this is what we've got.." Hopefully they do.

What other choice do they have other than to go the route of Sony
