yeah but that release date was for xbox 360, ps2 and xbox released on sept 26 of that year. New Next Gen consoles are the exception to the rule.

What trailers man?

They were tip toeing around showing us anything besides cheap dribble moves and tech demos from their computers...until the venice videos came out

Who knows man I never stated that wasn't a possibility but we have yet to see it happen, usually these contract agreements are pretty set in stone on a release date though.

terrible analogy, SMU couldn't recover because SMU was a smaller school competing with the big dogs like Texas and had many other teams in the Texas area. They NEEDED to pay players in order for them to compete in the first place. I hate when people talk about how SMU couldn't recover, it's because they were a small school to begin with that needed to cheat in order to compete.

EA isn't some small company. They needed a strong showing for this years game in order to even get the hope up of people. A disappointing showing this year and people will just write it off and not look back.
