i didnt play a dynasty pre patch and didnt have issues last year with freezing, but started up a dynasty while offline and had one game freeze in the 3rd quarter. started it back up after downloading the patch and it freezes again in the 3rd quarter though i at least made it to the 3rd game this time.

When are they going to fix the problem with the audibles. Everytime i audible using my customized playbook i get disconnected from opponent. I even tried without the customized playbook and when i audible the first time i get disconnected. Out of 10 games i only get to complete 1 online. Ive contacted EA about the problem but they are no help.

it's like de-fragging a CPU hard drive...it makes everything run smoother...

not sure why this is so hard for some people to comprehend.

I have been lucky so far, no freezes in 3rd year of dynasty offline. HOWEVER, I've avoided all the lil gimmicky stuff that's caused freezes in the past, you know, don't use custom playbooks or conferences, custom music, etc. Always felt that stuff was what lead to freezes.

BTW the only thing I'm seeing post update is suddenly my Varsity dynasty is playing like a defensive battle, CPU D is tighter on my receivers, games are lower scoring, etc. Could be imagining this, but that's the way my 3rd season is playing out through 5 games.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, and I truly think the bolded is always a part of the problem. I never touch that crap. Just baseline out of the box offline dynasty for me, none of that custom music, custom named rosters downloaded from God knows where and what kind of friggin bugs latch on and move with that **** straight to your system.

For what it's worth I'm using a custom conference and my buddy is using a custom playbook, yet never had a pre-patch freeze.

Great logic, it's our fault the product is bugged? Don't use features that they used to advertise the game to us? I'm sorry, but if they are going to release a game with all of those features, either make sure they work or don't include them. It isn't up to a bunch of people that may or may not be as smart as you to know they can't use basic features of the game or it will bust.
