*disclaimer: this is how it was last year, im assuming it is the same this year. im pretty sure it is, but my bad if its changed.
i realized this may have been confusing. when i say create your player with the overall/skills/depth chart position you want, i mean doing so outside of rtg, as in team management on the main screen. then use him as an existing player rather than a new player when you start your rtg.

Are all of the different gamer tags that you can use for these rosters the same?? Does it matter which gamertag we use?

Look at the first post in the corrections thread. That will let you know which gamertag to get the most recent version of the roster from.

First, being one of the people that used to spend hours upon hours for weeks entering these names prior to the file share days, I would like to say thank you. But second, I have to voice a complaint. I am a Badger fan, and some of the player alterations I understand. Danny O'Brien was rated too high, Chris Borland is very good, but that whole defense is suspect, so I understand that. But Montee Ball is fresh off of a Heisman worthy season and he dropped 3 points? And the ratings made him a power back? Montee Ball is no power back. He is as balanced as it gets. He is the college version of LaDainian Tomlinson. He relies on his elusiveness, vision and agility. I honestly don't see the logic in looking at his ratings and thinking "no no no, this isn't right." The guy tied Barry Sanders himself for most TDs in a season last year. Also James White was listed as 95 speed, and he was dropped to 88. That is more than borderline ridiculous. He is the burner on the team. The speed back. 88 wouldn't be the speed rating for a speed back on Ball State, let alone Wisconsin. I know I can just go alter them myself, which I am, I am just wondering what the thought process was behind changing these things.

"He does not possess elite speed -- will likely run a 4.55 40-yard dash."

We will fix the power back issue.

He was a balanced back and the overall speed edits changed him to power back is what happened. Everyone's speed will be lower than your used too after all the speed edits are in. Most players will be dropping a few overall because of it.

White should be faster than a 88. If you use the high end of NFLdraftscount use i think they use for the speed edits he would be a 90 which i think is about right compared to Ball who is a 88 now. White is more of a high ACC guy than a true burner though. His ACC is low at 91 i feel, a 93 i think would be more accurate to couple with the 90 speed. According to NFLdraft scout he should be faster than Ball is by about 2 using the standard NCAA speed conversion chart everyone uses.
