Exactly, if you want to post about other features in the game, there are threads for that. This is for the Chop feature. IF you want to bicker and complain about other things, it'll be dealt with accordingly. Stay on topic.

So you guys want people to talk "the chop" in a completely context-free discussion, no mention of how it will be used with other defensive maneuvers?

Anyway, it's a great mechanic idea and hopefully isn't finicky because of the poke check command, or visa-versa.

Hopefully the chop works as intended. It will finally give defensive players something else in their arsenal to keep the puck away from the offensive guys.

It gives the offense a chance to keep it in the zone too on 50/50 pucks along the wall.

That goes both ways though. I can see the chop being really useful vs the AI while on the PK to just get it out, especially if the AI presses this year attack wise when the situation would call for it. Imagine having to chip pucks to center just to clear out on an aggressive forecheck rather than the usual skate it out untouched.
