The issue is that jerseys don't get dirty on synthetic surfaces, even though in real life they show wear and tear.

Not dirty persay, but there are no helmet dings, or anything along those lines while playing on an artificial surface.

I can understand and respect why people want this, but for me, I never take the time or simply don't notice enough to know whether or not the field or uniforms degrade over the course of a game.

Hopefully it gets in for the people who really want it, though.
