I'm not as old as you are Bucky, but at 36 I've come to the realization that my big fear from 2005 when the exclusive was announced that this is exactly what was going to happen. It takes forever for them to include fundamentals. We have to wait a whole year to get one thing changed. Then we have to pray that it even works. Remember back in the old days when you would get a new game and it was twice the product it was the year before? The sports games were amazing and the improvements each year were incredible. The two worst sports games are the only two with an exclusive license. What a coincidence...

I just need some clarity, I have read some pages - but not all.

I like to create myself inside the game and play in franchise. I'm not sure how many people do that, and it may sound weird to some of you.. But I enjoy doing it. I actually create a few players.

With NCAA, I actually had the joy of creating myself in NCAA, playing, importing and drafting myself into Madden. Was a cool experience. Obviously this year, that route won't work. So I figured I'd create myself in the roster, then just start a season in the new "franchise" Connected Career's mode. Basically what I'm reading, is that isn't possible either.. Is that correct?

I've played online, I've bought friends Madden to play online franchise. I've also had games where people "cheat the game". I'm a gamer. It happens in every game. However, I prefer offline and what used to be there. 32 team control and all. It's about more than football.

We get it man....its just that for some reason EA decided the best way to do this would be to just about completely gut the offline experience completely and eliminate entire modes of playing the game. Could you imagine if EA just cut online completely and thats all you played because this is actually happening to some people with the changes that are being made.

That is correct. Your roster options are default or EA roster updates. No custom rosters. Your CAP option is to start an individual career.

They dont. The Show adds to its Franchise and modes each year.

NBA2k has only added to its franchise since it moved to next gen.

Even EA games like NHL and Fifa add to its franchise mode.
