With the demo, I am having significant trouble reading the defense (with regards to the passing game). Apparently in NCAA 13 motioning a receiver to tell whether the defense is in Man or Zone does not work anymore. Several times I would motion to see if CB would move with my WR but am getting different results than the norm that we are all used to seeing (CB moves with the WR = Man, etc.). Because of this my passing game has been non-existent even though I like what EA has done with rehauling the passing game. Since this strategy is no longer valid, can anyone help me how to read defenses? I am sure that there are lots of gamers who never used motion in the first place who thrive in the passing game and any help and tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

This is my plan. Get it used once the issues are patched. Also, if Madden ends up being amazing, I may just skip til next year. Of if Madden blows, I'll get NCAA earlier.

Can we please ban the use of this "Color me ______" phrase?

As far as the demo, they all echo my opinions. It's a slight upgrade, but still pretty far off from great. The updates were skipped thru after the first game, but I loved the open feel of the passing game.

I was complaining about the frequency of the studio updates, but EA tweeted today that was due to playing 3 min quarters and that they'd be less frequent with longer quarters.

"Seen some comments on the frequency of Studio Updates. It's because you're playing 3 min quarters. It'll be less frequent in the full game."

Damn, bruh. That's on ur own abilities. I have no probs passing, even in this demo. I remember last yr how, at least wit Madden, ppl said the same thing with passing and even then, I said the same thing - It's up to ur own personal abilities.

Ur never gunna be perfect. I throw multiple INTs, at times (usually based on my own attentiveness to the fame, at that moment. Heh) but I've always had a strong , natural sense of anticipation and trajectory and all dat yet it still took practice getting better wit passing. Keep working on it, bud. Use practice mode in the retail version, copiously

also field experience is not everthing. some people just have a gift of seeing things. manning sees the field like no one else but it isnt all film room and field experience. otherwise every 6'4" qb with a decent arm could be just as good as he is just putting in the time. same for guys like barry sanders and ray lewis.
Because I have gone through plenty of Dynasties with Garbage teams (UAB) built them into powerhouses and have easily thrown for 300 to 400 yards on heisman difficulty. If you know your offense and can look at the player movement and positioning on any given defensive play you will know who's going to be open where or if you need to hot route certain players to get them open. That's why pass trajectories don't mean much. I can figure out plenty of different route combinations to confuse the defensive personel. I also know my players and what they can and can't do.

And to your last statement I don't really understand what your saying because all of those guys have large amounts of field experience and players like Ray and either of the Mannings put in tons of time in the film room even before they become veteran players in the league. Guys like those have played football since pee-wee and excelled because they are able to adapt to certain systems thats the way their skill sets are. Check every single Head Coach and Coordinators background they, they didn't just jump up one morning and put in an application to be a coach they have worked under people and learned from someone else. That also counts for field experience.

If your on PSN and want to play send me a request on day 1 or whenever PSN: YungKoolAntone.

I bet the studio updates will be more spaced out with longer quarters.

Also, they will be more interesting in an actually dynasty when we actually care about the games.
