Reading through and 2 things that really bother me if they're true. You can only control one team and you can't edit player equipment when you're in the mode?

I usually play franchise mode with a buddy on the same console and have a lot of fun doing that. My interest in the game drops almost to zero if this is true. I'll just stick to NCAA and 2k13.

The only thing that I'm confused about is "retiring" players.

If I start my career as Andrew Luck and then decide to retire him to take a coaching job, is he literally retired and removed from the NFL entirely?
