NCAA Football 13 Demo Is Out, Post Your Impressions Here

Played 1 game - Oregon @ USC(me) over lunch. xbox360.

Pros - Graphics looked solid. Gameplay was solid too, seemed to play smoother than last year. Less herky jerkey type stuff. Passing over the middle is now possible - enjoyed putting some touch on passes over the MLB. Liked the cutaway to an ESPN score update. Didn't see any psychic db's

Cons - Crowd seemed kinda dull. Guess I was expecting more. The audio during ESPN score update seemed kinda akward (not a huge deal). Wish they would add more camera and media members to the field (behind endzone and sidelines). Looks ridiculous that area behind the endzone is wide open with nothing there. See pic below of real USC game - area is loaded with visitors, suits and camera/media folks. Would add BIG TIME to environment.




I'll spend more time with this tonight - but so far, so good. Seems like NCAA12' with all of the issues from last year fixed. Hope they get the dynasty player tendency thing fixed.

here comes the "LT helps with throwing high/low, inside/outside shoulder" argument.

to me(and only to me) it still feels like if you hold the LT when making your throw you can "fine tune" your throw some, like throwing it over his head rather than at his facemask.

I can confirm that it works MUCH better. It drove me nuts in 12 that the QB took so long to come out of the fake. The read option seems to flow in a very real way, and it's really fun to play with Oregon and Kansas State on the demo.

Yes, the replay angles are in need of a big improvement.

I have a question regarding crowd noise - this is one of the "it's in the game" aspects that has been a thorn in my paw since they messed it up two years ago (or whenever it was) and I'm wondering if by "needing a boost" you mean that we'll be able to use the sliders to amp up the crowd noise or is this as good as it will get (i.e. the demo)?

anyone else think the fields look bad. Not only do the replays look bad because they are angles that are way too close but the 3D grass looks beyond ugly.

has anyone had any of the game break reports from Andrews yet? i have not had one and she would always come after halftime. i hope those make a return, maybe they just are not in the demo.

nope but i get a studio update every 2 plays to let me know some team kicked a fg to go up 6-0 in the 1st quarter.
