I was amazed when I saw people's responses to this

Total shocker!

In defense of BAP mode I'm a huge fan when it's done properly. EA failed last year. If this reaction time is their solution to RTG and the key to Heisman challenge it's looking like another failed year just my opinion.

I am a big fan on BAP modes. But, yeah last year was a fail.
I would be good for this year, if they add Custom Quarter Lengths and maybe drills, make Practices/Postion Battles tougher(slower progression), and improve playcalling.

But I do think Reaction Time is the main improvement for RTG this year.

"The experience of being a college football superstar is now even more exciting with a new feature in Road to Glory that allows players to see and feel the game differently during key moments, increasing on-field awareness and creating amazing opportunities."

"You can't put powdered sugar on a turd and call it a donut." I think EA disagrees. To me it seems their entire operation is run by salesmen and a marketing department, and not actual gamers. The way Ben is always pitching in his PR talk just does not come off as genuine--it has been that way for years now. I understand it, though. After all, they are trying to sell games; making a better product falls lower on the list of priorities than selling more copies.

Once the next generation of consoles comes out I'm very curious to see where this game goes. I wonder if they will ever update the game engine or do more for simulation football. These supplemental modes do seem like a complete waste of time, especially one that looks so poorly executed as this.

Attack Attack, here's a piece on it I found in the blog on the NCAA 13 home page and a screenshot of RG3 with his helmet off.

This is a monumental day for the NCAA Football franchise, because for the first time ever, you will get to play as real athletes in our game! Not only that, but you also get to play as the cover athlete, Robert Griffin III. And yes, they look exactly as they did during their Heisman year. We spent a lot of time re-creating the exact look and style of each Heisman Player, including the awesome hairstyle of 70s great Archie Griffin, the elbow pads of the legendary Barry Sanders, and the swelling muscles of Herschel Walker.

The more I read about this article, the more I think it is about trying to outdo what they were able to do and then getting the achievements and trophies for it. That is beyond what you could do with a CAP. I actually think this mode will be fun and challenging now and understand it a little more than I did at first. It's kind of like a tribute to the Heisman Winners of the past and then saying now go see if you can outperform these legends of the past.

Here's the link to the blog for those who want to read about it. http://www.easports.com/ncaa-footbal...lenge-dev-blog

I don't know if I will ever like "Reaction Time" probably not, but another thing I learned in the article is that the video interview questions were made by Christian McLeod, not just clips you could have gotten off of Youtube, like some have suggested.

So achievements and trophies make it better ? Besides when you going to have ratings BEYOND 99, it will be damn near impossible to NOT break their record. Most likely you will unlock all those achievements and trophies within half of the season.
