I've avoided the freezes so far with the other patches. Hope that continues when I download this new one.

I agree. I'm in the same boat. I understand others are having problems, but these patches make me nervous.

I only play offline, and I have one franchise that I'm playing. That's it.

K everyone that kept up with the 1.16 impressions thread probably knows my story.

Braves Franchise around 150 games in (all games played by me) froze up with the 150+ loss error. Would freeze on advance no matter what. Even after deleting game data / previous mlb the show iterations it would still freeze.

Downloaded patch this morning and YAYYYYYYY it is working again. Still have the 150+ losses but it is purely cosmetic (advanced to playoffs and seeding was all correct that I saw). Glad this finally got fixed and my hope has been restored as far as SCEA lol.

EDIT: My franchise was started pre 1.06.

Arghhh! On my 20th or more attempt to download the patch.

Unfortunately my internet service provider, Kabel Signal, has a monopoly where I live in Austria and downloading files is always very difficult. I always get "timed out" errors. It is too bad it is not possible to download the updates in Firefox and then apply them with a USB stick like I do with PS3 updates.

Yea man I'm so happy right now lol. In these past 3 or so weeks I've started like 10 different franchises and didn't make it like past 5 games in em. I was so Show depressed with what happened lol.

So glad to be back at it with my Braves franchise.

I just downloaded the new patch and I cannot get past the intro. I get past the PS Move screens and the warning for those with epilepsy.

Then it get to the screen saying "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents" and I cannot get past that screen. It doesn't freeze but just fades out, then repeats over and over again. Then if I let it do that for a few minutes, the screen just goes to black, the intro continues but it then lags over and over again in the remaining scenes of the intro. (San Diego Studio's screen, etc.)

Before this patch everything was completely fine, but I downloaded it anyway. I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting this problem and if there's anything I can do or if I'm just gonna have to wait until the next patch.

EDIT: I just let the whole intro play through, and it takes about 20 minutes and just freezes (or just takes forever) at the A-Gon loading screen. Lol this is disheartening.
