But honestly i've used Stadium Sounds and turned off the commentators for past few years now.

IMO the best atmosphere in NCAA Football is simply let the PA announcer call everything and then crank up the Stadium Sounds it adds so much more than anything EA can deliver at this point with regular brodcasting.
What's up Play?

I wish they would send you a build and allow you to tinker with the sliders and give feedback so they can tweak/adjust before Demo release.

If they would just use guys like yourself, GotMadSkillzson feedback to tweak what they have, many of the issues people are seeing wouldn't be such an eyesore year-in, year-out.

Field size is "Killing" this game.

No room for anything to play out with proper spacing causing everything to move in a vacuum.

Every pass play is a catch-two step-then contact.
No room to actually run after the catch, esp over the middle going vertical.

Man if they would just use the feedback with what they have, we wouldn't be doing this every year.

Just want another developer to bring us some College Football at this point, I don't care who it may be.

EA has had several years now and it's just not happening with them.

Read and react? I'd settle for defenders being in the general vicinity of their defensive assignment on any given play.

But hey, it's an early build...... right? Right?
Imo it's hard to draw too many conclusions given the 99.99% certainty that they were playing on freshman. Hopefully we'll get to see some AA or Heisman gameplay in the near future.

All I can figure from people that say "WAIT FOR THE DEMO TO JUDGE" is that they have Hume-ean objections to the validity of inductive logic.

It's that "Acceleration" rating that's the cause for the "Glitch to the Spot" or Electric Slide/5 yrds in 3 sidesteps movement.

Another good idea but Poorly implemented.

I tested lowering to 25-50 depending on player, and it's a night-n-day difference.

Unfortunately, who what's to edit that many player's, then deal with editing the in-game generated player's just to accomplish this?

A "GLOBAL EDITOR" would go a long way, but that's giving the gamer too much customizing ability.

I'll just rent, but I'm looking more to what Madden is talking about bringing to the table this year.

I just create NCAA teams http://www.operationsports.com/forum...d.php?t=513261 on there and use what they have to play some college.

No because then EA will take out coaching carousel, custom playbooks, and any other good feature, under the guise of "we can't carry them over from console to console at the present time" and then reintroduce them 3 years later as new features.

Here's one way of looking at NCAA's problems vis a vis this forum:

The number of people on this board complaining about the correct type of socks, the right hue of a pylon, the exact percentage of Revo Speed helmets, etc. farrrrr outnumbers the people talking about the way the Power play is blocked, the problems with Over defenses, the flawed player movement or lack of momentum, the inability to run options effectively, etc.

Perhaps what's left of the fanbase really is the people who care about the superficial, trivial stuff (under the guise of INCREASED AUTHENTICITY). Those who value gameplay/scheming have already jumped ship.

I'm not sure if this is the proper interpretation, but it's one possibility.

Is say this is not an interpretaon but a bash post disguised as one.

Too much exaggeration and false dichotomy

I'd rather them nail the gameplay part of the game and have minimal features, than have all the features and sub par gameplay. What good are custom playbooks, if the play on the field sucks? But that's just me.
