Not even the commentary sounds any different at all. Almost word for word from last year and the crowd is still awful. I would have like to see Oregon with the ball to see if they got loud. At least give us what you say you're giving us. That wasn't terrible, it was just so stale.

EA wouldn't dare let us see Oregon with the ball. That would illustrate just how poorly the cpu runs the spread/option.

Watched the clip last night and what can you say -- it certainly doesn't do any favors for the much-talked-about new commentary engine. I don't play NCAA, but if they're sharing the same commentary tech as Madden, I have to be a little concerned.

As far as gameplay goes, you either love it, find it serviceable, or hate it. I fall right there in the middle, so I didn't find anything in this video that really turned me off. Some of the pass coverage was whacky, but that happens in every football game from time to time. I actually liked the pass catching. Guys getting their heads around to look for the ball does wonders visually, and brings a layer of realism to the passing game.

Well that was not what I was expecting from a commentary perspective. It was pretty dry and way too much dead space. I usaully buy NCAA to get ready for Madden, but I may skip it this year....It just seems like a boring game -- based off this video. Hopefully Madden isnt as bad commentary wise, but I have a feeling it will be similar.

I think the discouragement comes from the wacky coverage happening too often in NCAA '12.

Whats funny is that in NCAA '12 the safety will have his back to the ball but finds where its being thrown almost instantly and the safety in this video is looking right at it and didn't even attempt to make a play on it.

The dead air is really bad and stale.

The gameplay kinda looks the same but probably plays better than 12.

The studio updates are not perfect but will help add some immersion to your dynasty.

Overall it looks and sounds like an EA sports video game.

They just don't want to implement it and I don't believe it's software related. Part of me has thought about buying an old PS2 and NCAA 06 instead.

Last year's game really frustrated me with the super LBs and the super toned down r-stick juke. Those are supposed to be improved and the new recruiting is interesting. I expect the game to be better than last year's which I didn't like. To really push me into buying I want to see the cpu run the spread and run an offense effectively that isn't a pro style offense. The push for everything online also seems that EA doesn't care enough about cpu AI though.

I think many of us could like this game but I don't see anyone saying that NCAA 13 will emulate college football the way the Show does baseball or NBA 2K does basketball.
I'm bringing my PS2 Slim up from the basement and am going to start playing NCAA 06. Just use generic names and go with it.

I was playing the FIFA DEMO on Vita last night and was blown away by how dynamic the crowd was. I'm not a soccer guy, but I can see why people gravitate towards that game. The commentary is miles ahead of what NCAA brings to the table ... and again, this is just based off of what I saw from the DEMO last night.

Watched the video again and the game just doesn't have enough life to it. Way too similar to 12, IMO.
