The only good aspect of the pass rush I saw was around the 3:00 mark the DE got around the edge after playing pattycake pretty quickly. But that was the only instance. Not good for the law of averages.

Keep in mind as well people aren't just talking sacks. We simply want front four PRESSURE from the DE's at least. Make the damn qbs step up. That does not happen as coded in the NCAA series.

Looked like it ran smoother then 12, the passing has me intrigued and yea def looked as if playing on varsity...still would like to see new player models and have them show off some new
Uniforms and equip they allegedly updated...

Exactly.
My concern isnt sacks. I can blitz LBs and CBs to get sacks or at least free up a DE for a sack.
I just want to be able to disrupt a QB. I want to run a 4-3 defense and have a DLine like NYG and be able to solely focus on Dline for sacks. I dont want to see the CPU QB or even my QB sit in the pocket for 6 secs and be able to make reads.

It doesnt matter how good your DBs are if you cant get pressure on QB, you will get burned evetually.

I hated it. I had to keep messing around with the pass rush and pass block sliders, and when I finally made it to where the DT wasn't getting 3-4 sacks a game, then it was nearly impossible for the DE's to get to the QB.

I honestly started putting my DE's at DT just so their stats could look realistic. I had Brandon Jenkins and Bjerne Werner playing DT on formation sub passing downs so I could rush the passer with them lol.
Last year, I got the 2nd rated DE in recruiting as a lower school(local DE). I was excited. I was expecting him to put him big numbers. My scrub DT put way more numbers than him. I think the highest number of sacks he had in a season was 5.

This was pretty disappointing, honestly. ESPN Bottom Line and updates looked nice, but other than that the improvements from '12 to '13 are hardly noticeable.

There weren't nearly enough good pass plays to judge one way or another.

I originally planned on getting both Madden and NCAA 13 this year, but after seeing that there's no way.

NCAA is looking more like Madden's little sister than little brother this year if you ask me.

That was NCAA 12 with a new ticker and studio updates. Predator dreads, stale, boring, commentary. Where is the crowd noise and atmosphere we heard in the Sights and Sounds webcast????
