You do realize that what you just suggested has the SAME effect as deleting the league. If you have to start a new league you might as well delete your old one. There definitely IS more to this story, but regardless of the outcome (via patches to come, I'm sure) the damage has been done. If 2K decides to make a game next year, or if someone else jumps into the fold all that has happened with with MLB12: The Show as far as patches go, will be used by the competitors.

Please tell me im not going to have issues: I deleted all my game saves other than the intall of the cd. I started the game downloaded the patch, and then started a new franchise, am I going to be okay? I forgot to save the Update 1.5 to a thumb drive, the game worked great with that update.

Im in a season started just days ago so its post patch

16 games in I decide to check out the free agent list for the heck of it

game freezes, The moment I click on Free Agents I see the word "Aquisitions" and an empty screen

I thought freezes were for old franchises/seasons.

Now I understand the frustration you guys feel. I'm pretty darn mad.

I use seanjeezy's v3 roster, btw

Your absolutely right.

I tried 3 different SCEA released rosters and this did NOT happen.

Then, I restarted seasons with various clubs (using seanjeezy's v3 roster with a few edits from me) and I duplicated the freeze every single time, regardless ofteam used or point in season.

I'm sure many have used his rosters. I seem to be the first to have this issue.

Any ideas why?

I have used current, default, and the online roster that the game offers and it freezes everytime. In franchise and season.
