Just as quick and talkative you guys want to be when it comes to cover votes, team entrances and band locations, be talkative about game play, ratings, sliders, animation triggers. You know the real nuts and bolts of the game.

Yes, that makes sense - completely disregard your companies IP and give all your design specifications for free! I wonder why more business just don't go the route of open source!

The developers are here to interact when possible. If it frustrates you that you don't get a response your best bet is to contact the game company's support line. Having developer interaction here is a bonus and a privilege, not a right.

I haven't posted in months but this deserves a reply. I feel the exact way. I have playing this game since 01 or rather actually buying it on my own since then, and while I am eager to hear the developments tomorrow, what I have learned is this. Nothing matters until the game is in your hands. These guys are developers slash spokesmen. While they are releasing info they are also serving two purposes and the other is to sell the game. So while I'm probably going to buy the game it will not be until the positives and negatives are thoroughly found by this community, bc I can't remember what year it was but remember the game not being ready to play until dec. Sorry if there are typos typed this out on my phone

No, you take video game marketing with a grain of salt until you actually play the game.

I sometimes wonder how some of you are members of this site for such a long time (or even video game players in general) and still don't realize this. It's the same story - every. single. year.

They are on here each day reading nearly every post that is productive and insightful. If you were them, would you come here and post so you could be trolled constantly?!? I doubt it, they are people just like you and I (albeit with a job most people on these forums would love to have) and deserve to be treated as we would any other person we meet in everyday life. They don't want their butt kissed, and they don't want to be coddled, and they certainly don't want (I would imagine) the horrible treatment they receive from a few people. No just because people have an internet connection does not mean they have the right to be malicious towards others because they can be anonymous.

While I agree with you, the more respectful board members would agree that there is a noticeable difference in pre and post release support on the forums here.

It's a cycle that has been pretty apparent for a few years now. Without knowing EA's allowances for public discussions on game "issues" I can honestly say there is certainly a difference when a game is getting praised due to hype and being blasted due to bugs/glitches/broken features.
