I think I've lost all excitement for NCAA 13. All this "new" crap is just fluff. Its gonna be a disappointing July. How about EA goes out & hire people that actually CARE about college football & authenticity!! This "Oh, it didnt make it in this year" bull is driving me to the edge.

If you hate the game so much, why even come in here and waste time out of your life to bitch about a $60 video game? It is incredible the amount of negative people we have in here, and it is no wonder that the devs hardly interact with us anymore. I, for one, really enjoy what EA gives us each year and I look forward to the the news coming out each year on the new game. Call me naive, but I am an optimistic person, I live my life this way, and believe it or not, I have a lot of positive results from it. Maybe you guys should try it sometime...i promise, it won't hurt.
Ah one of these. The reason so many people on here are negative is because of EA, not us. They give us the same song & dance year after year and put out mediocre, at best, games filled with bugs & glitches that require patch after patch. So then don't buy it, right? A lot of people have went that route but is that the end? So just don't buy it and that will solve the problems? Like my $60 would make EA's profits shift even the slightest bit to now my voice is being heard through my wallet. And what about the people who's favorite sport is college football, grew up enjoying the old NCAA Football games and have no other college football game to turn to because EA cornered the market? I guess they're just S.O.L.

No one is preventing you from enjoying the game or expressing that you enjoy the game. If you look at these boards at the posts that are positive about the game, those people aren't bashed or attacked for saying they enjoy it. If they enjoy it that's great for them. But as you can already tell the majority on here are far from satisfied.

If you don't want to see so many unhappy people voicing their feelings and opinions, i don't know if this is the right place. Understand we want this game to be better, but when it comes to listening to them in the interviews and seeing what they are coming up with, we've all seen and heard it before and we're just tired of the same thing... try to sell us on all this glitter but fail on the substance and then the game comes out and we need patch after patch and all the sudden they disappear until its time to do it over again next year.

and

Any type of pulled back cam would reveal how much they've purposefully neglected the sidelines and fans in the stands visually (not much difference than Sega Genesis Madden).

Madden has attempted an upgrade to these areas, that's why it's in Madden and not NCAA.

Ever notice how they never say/describe how something is different from their last release?
It's just we've done this.
Got to pull a tooth to get some depth to their answer.

I don't care what anyone says, that tells me your not as confident in what you've done!
When we've done something that we're truly proud of, we go to great lengths to let people know and want to showcase the in's/out's of why we believe it's so good.

See how they go into great length to describe their Mascots and Team Entrances (esp FSU) injections before anyone ever asked a question?

Guy even smiles from ear to ear because he's proud of that work.

True ESPN Presentation, TV style camera views, sidelines and fans in the stands are "Area 51" subjects.

"WHAT CHOO TALK'N ABOUT WILLIS?"
that a great point and half of the reason i'm not optimistic about things like i used to be years ago. I've seen & heard the song and dance. I don't buy into those "last minute additions or changes" or hope that things can be added in the next 2 months. That rarely ever happens. And i've learned that the things they enjoy talking about the most and the things they mention the most and the things they have no problem going into detail tells me those are the focuses of the game.

Ask them about camera angles, NFL stadiums, teambuilder, or something that they either didn't add or work on much and they'll try to shy away from it as much as possible or avoid the subject altogether. Ask them about team entrances, the sky changing or mascots/cheerleaders and they can talk for days.

That list of the back of the box features are going to be what you hear from now till release. So get ready to listen about entrances, lighting, crowd sounds/studio analyst, passing, heisman mode and road to glory.

Honestly, and I mean this with upmost respect to everyone's wishlist for all the small nuances...crowd noise fixes and commentary and noises in general are nice...but let me find out no added pass interference or even penalties as a whole being tuned and no special teams being fixed...and I mean formations, returns, blocks, fakes, AI at least TRYING a coffin corner...then i will be done, worse yet I will lobby for everyone I know to not get it either. I am sure the Texas cowgirls are very nice...along with USC song girls...but if that made it and penalties and special teams didn't...done.

Not sold on this game at all. The gameplay improvements need to be SUBSTANTIAL for me to purchase this game.

The way games are broadcast on TV there are always tons of stat overlays and everything. I see NO REASON why starting line-ups or a coaches record can't be shown during the pre-game at the least.

They have the ESPN license they need to add the ESPN bottom line as well as the starting line-up package that ESPN shows every single game. This game should look more like a ESPN game than a EA sports game if that makes any sense lol.

It is good news though that the audio and crowd noise has been improved.

So please explain to me why cant they put all the mascots in the game? Why is the wr/db interaction so crappy?
Why do QB's not scramble how there suppose to instead of just standing there waiting to get sacked.
Tendency's were broken this year made the game unplayable because players never played to their true tendency.
Had the same commentary for 3 years.
And no one cares how you live your life.
Heisman FG is all screwed up.

So if we didn't complain then obviously they wouldn't fix their product.

Excellent post that explains alot of the sentiment of posters who are skeptical of NCAA..It's an ongoing cycle..
