I think it's pretty obvious they are going to stick with this game engine until the next gen consoles come along. Until then, be happy with the *cough* new exciting uniforms and if we're really lucky, dreds.


I've already played '11 for 2 solid years and it looks like another year is coming. Hell, I might get the 60 year dynasty achievement. At least I got my moneys worth out of that game.

There are key things that I personally didn't like in EA football games last year, that kept me from finally being able to enjoy the two games the whole year. If any of these are addressed, I have a good chance of enjoying EA football this year, in spite of my lack of enjoyment last year.

Expecting to find more enjoyment from a game the next year because of the new things added and past things potentially improved, even if the enjoyment the year before was nonexistence, sounds reasonable to me.

You completely missed the point of my post. I was talking about people expecting an overhaul of an engine that's been around for over 10 years. The game does make changes every year, but the vast majority of them are pretty minor and don't completely change the gameplay. I actually really enjoyed the Vision Cone and was disappointed when they removed it, but I still have enjoyed the game since it was removed.

What specifically did you not enjoy from last year that, if improved or changed, would make you enjoy this year's game?

This is really the first time I've looked at anything NCAA 13 because last yr was soooo bad but why on earth are we doing team entrances again why is that sounding like a back of the box feature???

Not new at all, actually. I just don't jump to such bold conclusions like saying a game you've never played will "stink like a steamy pile of panda excrement", and the new commentary engine, new/replaced lines, and new crowds have all been a step in the right direction imo. Since those are the only details that have been released ab 13, and the videos shown are being played using the NCAA 12 engine, you should wait til you jump to your conclusion as well.
