It's not boring from a baseball standpoint, but when I play a franchise, I play every game. I don't sim a single game, and the only time I ever even think fast forward is when I'm losing by more than like 6 or 7 runs late in the game, or when I'm in a rush to finish playing (ie when a real life game is about to start, or I'm trying to go to bed [notice how those extra inning games always seem to happen at like 11 pm?]). All that considered, I don't know if Classic Pitching will hold my interest for 162 games.

I'll be honest though, I've never really given it much of a serious try. I did try Timing hitting, and I kind of assumed that since I don't enjoy that, I wouldn't enjoy Timing Pitching, so I just kind of ignored it. I was so caught up in how amazing The Show is, and the fact that January 2011 was the first time I'd played video game baseball since MVP 2005, that I never really got around to stepping outside of my box. This year I'll make it a point to do just that.

Exhibition games until the Opening Day Rosters are released.

I totally agree with your comment on it not being boring, the thing that is boring to me is mastering a meter and knowing exactly where the ball will go each time.

That is why I always wanted the meter stopping point at release to have varying degrees of skid based on how his stamina/confidence was and how good his control was overall. That way it was not always money that you could hit the release point.
