Anyone else notice the new Santa Slammers team? Santa and two Elves (Boom and Shaka).

Just downloaded this and it is fantastic. Deserves way more than a 7, I give it a solid 9,.

Re: NBA Jam: On Fire Edition Review (360)

I for one have never been into NBA JAMS. I played it before in my younger days but really was not into it. I was more into the SIM nba games. But play the demo and went ahead and bought it.
I'm having a blast with it.

I think its because it just fun laid back game. i don't have to worry about it being a real Sim nba game. Like NBa2k we always finding something wrong with it etc. You know what your getting in this game and you just go with it

On fun factor i give this game a 9

This game is great with friends, but I don't know that I'd use the words "fun" or "laid back" to describe the typical online experience.

Found this on the official JAM forums:

Re: NBA Jam: On Fire Edition Review (360)

This week I went back and have been playing NBA Hangtime (N64) and NBA Showtime (Dreamcast).

For some reason, those older games just have more fun factor than the new Jam. I think it's the simplicity and presentation that make them more fun. Also, getting to make a 7'6" horse called "Merlin" is fairly amusing.

Can't go wrong with the Hangtime halftime rap or the NBA on NBC music:
