It took 2 weeks to do these rosters and we can't even use them for our Online Association. 2k sports has failed miserably with these updates. The OA website is still not working. You could'nt even play online with out it freezing the first month it came out. I'm not defending EA sports, because they have problems too, but 2k sports is light years away from EA sports as far as online.
You need some perspective. How is EA sports "way more advanced"? I'll take Madden. One, you have to have XBL Gold just to be able to download updated rosters in the first place. If you have a PS3 not an issue I assume, but you probably need an online pass or something if you buy the game used. Nor do they offer options for downloading user-created custom rosters, sliders, etc. Madden's team-up mode consists of allowing people to play on the same team against the cpu. You've already mentioned Madden lacking online franchise. I don't think you can take your created player online to compete against other gamers' created players.

If 2K took the route with any of those things I'm sure it'd be a lot easier to implement from a programmatical standpoint. But they didn't. I can only imagine how people would flip if they could only take their 2K My Players online to play against the cpu. Or if they didn't give people the option for downloading custom rosters w/o XBL Gold or having to purchase some online pass. Here people flip out over a totally optional $10 mode 2K offers. Or that they don't have a real face for Joey Benchwarmer.

Personally my pet peeve is teams having their correct sock/shoe color combinations. So much so I'm willing to wait until it's rectified before I'll start an Association - so I'm disappointed that hasn't occurred yet. But I understand where my pet peeve stands in the overall scheme of things, and in relation to the quality of the game overall.

It was a pretty good update IMO. Definately could have been better but I'm not pissed about it. They still are missing a few people but they did give us some more rooks and I'm grateful for that. I will say this tho, missing players that are seeing a lot of minutes like Jenkins did the other night are only seeing a ton of minutes due to player injuries (When Curry comes back i doubt he will see minutes like that, plus Nate didn't look terrible). Most of them are playing garbage time with the exception of maybe Jeremy Pargo and Greg Stiemsma. And in all honesty the only reason Stiemsma is getting minutes is because there are no other big men on the bench for the Celtics besides Brandon Bass. I do understand why people want the real cyberfaces for their teams missing players but in all honesty if that is the only reason why you are not playing the game, you might want to buck up and just create them or download them from 2k share. I'm a Blazer fan and i wish they had Chris Johnson but I just downloaded a CAP from 2kshare, tweeked it to how I liked it and kept it pushin'.

Im not too surprised with this update. I was definetly hoping for a more complete roster still, but it is what it is. Jeremy Pargo, Greg Stiemsma and Charles Jenkins missing are the 3 that surprise me the most.

Anyway, Im hoping Ill just DL some CAPs for missing players or find a roster that has included the missing players to the new 2k rosters. I want to start association with Toronto, and everybody is there, but boy are they rated bad. I hoped for some sort of rating jump for at least Bargnani. It's ridiculous how he is rated lower than a lot of rookies when he is in the top 10 in scoring this year and had 20 ppg last year. Its a joke really

I'm very easy to please, love this game. But don't be grateful for a roster update like this. We all paid for this game. If they're going to put the name NBA in the title, at least have accurate up-to-date rosters of the NBA.

Do you guys realize that you are the only ones complaining and or noticing every aspect of this update. There's about a million other people who have no idea what this update is. How many gamers care about socks and tattoos. LMAO

I can understand if you're upset that Greg Stiemsma or Isaiah Thomas isn't in the game. I'll even give Heat fans Terrel Harris, since he just played like 40 minutes against the Hawks.

But all I'm hearing is, "And still a lot of missing players..." when most of those players don't even play! Shoot, I'm surprised they added Tyler Honeycutt, who's apparently in the D-League, and Malcolm Lee, who's hurt and wont play until after the All-Star weekend.

And seriously...If I'm playing online and I see a guy put it some scrub like Chris Johnson, I will personally vow to do everything I can to make you quit, because you should be ashamed of yourself, especially if it's ranked.

If there's a guy you want in, sit down, put in work and hours, and create him. Or, if there's an acceptable 2KShare player, download it. (I know for a fact there's a Mychel Thompson on 2KShare, and wouldn't ya know, I created a Sig Shot for him ). But seriously guys, lets get it together.
Yeah, I'm not really complaining, but all I wanted from them throughout this entire process was the 26 first-rounders who signed contracts here, and the 3 missing Heat rookies throughout the entire process. Just kind of frustrating that I still don't have them. Also having a hard time downloading anything off of 2KShare, it won't let me complete any download, it will just say downloading and I've let it sit for as long as half-an-hour and it won't work, been doing this all year, so I'm kind of stuck as I'm horrible at creating players and getting their faces and bodies right. Guess I still gotta wait for 2K to put them in themselves. Darn.
