My only real major issue with the CPU is that they still take way to long to get a shot off. Unless they get the fastbreak, they run a set play and end up heaving a long shot with 2 seconds left way to often. There is no secondary break or free-styling off a set play at all.

It is just to predictable, which I find wasn't the case last year as I played 3 years of offline association. This year I have been playing way more online though as I think that is MUCH improved.

Basically.....2K11 for offline, 2K12 for online is were I am at...

Couldn't agree more. Whenever I call a post play, if my Center is guarded, the post entry pass is on point. If my Center is open, the pass is always offline, allowing the defender to catch up and guard me. There's no slider for that.

I've come to the realization that I need to lower my expectations about this game and give 2k a Mulligan for this year. The lockout, followed by rapid free agent movement, followed by a shortened season is a lot to deal with. Take the randomness of the NBA Today schedule for example, I don't think it's been current yet.

I'm done getting excited for Ronnie's tweets and anxiously waiting for every patch. The game, as it is, is very flawed. But, I still enjoy playing. If future patches help the gameplay, I'll be pleasantly surprised. If there are only minor improvements and the games stays close to what it is now, that's fine, it is what it is.

It depends on what type of game you're looking for. If you like 2k11 I imagine you'd probably like 2k12 as well, especially if you're more of an online player.

However, if you're after a simulation basketball game (online or off), don't buy it. 2k12 isn't it, but if you ask me neither was 2k11 so it's all preference I guess..

Thanks. I think for now I will stick with 2k11. I really don't play online much anymore with sports games and I really enjoy 2k11. I am kind of a simulation guy with my sports games. But at the same time I understand there is no perfect game. I see there are people on this thread that take that to another level. I think that the double team problem would be hard to overlook. As 2k11 did it so well. The stats problem in Association would bother me, but definitely not be a game breaker. I think I will get this in the future if another patch is fixed that fixes the important things that allow the game to be more playable. I think that some people are having a hard time drawing the line on issues that need to be fixed and the issues they want fixed. I believe it should be worth it when it takes a price drop.

Did they update the schedule in this game to include the 66 game season, or is the only option the regular 82 games?

I'm sorry nobody answered you yet - some of these guys are downright barbarians.

The answer to your question is:

**** No.

I'm basically surprised that 2k still hasn't fixed the A.I. not double teaming problem, which makes the whole game broken.

What I can't believe is people not complaining enough about this problem. It's unbelievable that in this day and age we have a bball game with NO double team.

It's a 2k disgrace.
